Mindmed had an idea: provide treatment of ADHD in your pocket. One that’s not clinical and alienating, but fun and elegant. That’s their app, and they wanted to find a way to tell people about it. That’s why they approached me; they wanted a video that communicated their vision for the app to people who had ADHD in an empathetic way.
Mindmed ADHD aims to treat ADHD using accessible technology — a smartphone.
I was provided a great deal of creative freedom on the project. I wrote, narrated, edited, animated, and scored the video — integrating client feedback along the way. I wanted the promo to take the perspective of someone with ADHD, emphasizing that they’re not intellectually deficient, they just learn differently.
